ODE TO DREU̯, wind and water

The name Drava river is believed to be rooted from the term -dreu̯ ‘flow’, the name is pre-Roman and pre-Celtic, but probably is of Indo-European origin. This proposal of the floating pavilion on the great Drava River is to present the flow of wind and water as the architecture to the visitor. Whereas the typical structure would be static or have different modes of shapes, they usually don’t accommodate the design, so to speak, to surrender to nature. The design revolves mainly around the idea of catching the movement of nature and forming an intimate connection with it.
